Biggest wave energy plant in the world planned in Sweden

A new wave energy power plant is planned in Sotenäs on the Swedish west coast (see map). The company Seabased Industry applied earlier and today the application was approved by the regional environmental court. The permission to run the power plant is valid for 20 years. The plan is to connect 420 power aggregates to each other. The calculated effect is 10 megawatts, the biggest in the world when it comes to wave power plants.
